Do I get Anti-Virus Protection?

Yes! Your E-mails are run through our anti-virus scanner (Clam Antivirus) when they are processed on the server. This includes outgoing and incoming E-mails. Our anti-virus definitions are updated every few hours from the master servers, so you can rest assured that our systems are updated constantly!

Note: Server-side antivirus checking is only supplimental to your own anti-virus program installed on your computer. It should not be fully relied upon and no gaurantees are given about it's accuracy. We use these systems as a courtesy only. Trust this at your own risk!

Example:

When a virus is detected, you and the sender will both receive an e-mail like the example below. This notifies you of the virus and who it was sent from, along with the subject of the e-mail. The virus is then quarantined from the e-mail, which protects you and your system.
